i just got my 390's and tracloc put in today and damn what a diffrence. i went from 3.20's. the truck moves along nicely for a v6.

i paid 430 for the gears/locker/master install kit, and 230 for the install

I hope I notice a differnce. I'm installing 3.91s in my 99 which has 3.51 stock gears. Hmm, maybe I should go to 4.10

390's are killin me on the gas tho! maybe because i was drivng around at WOT the entire day but on the high way im turning like 2600 or so for 65 mph. if u dont get on the highway 4.10's would be badass! i would have really loved a set of them but the wallet would hate me everyy time i went t the pump..i got 50 miles to a 1/2 tank today, i think my pedal is stuck at wot :)

You must have some short tires!

I have 4.10 gears and I am turning 2300 at 65 with a auto trans.

I have 235X60X16 tires.
