 Subject: tb cable

I have a 97 V6 Dak and was wondering about the throttle cable. Can you take the linkage off the stock v6 and put it on the v8? Is the linkage non-removable? Any input would be appreciated.

if you mean the throttle body swap, the linkage is attached to the cable for good. your best bet is to buy a v8 throttle cable, or do what i did to my v8 tb. i drilled out the disc and put a holley ball stud in its place, no foolin around with the cable replacment.

If you mean the cable bracket yes they are
interchangeable from V6 to V8 bodies 3 5/16
bolts hold them on
