Aloha, I have a 99 Dakota. Heres my prob, I was having a problem with the vents, air would only come out of the lower and defrost vents. Found out that the flapper to direct the bilevel air was broken. I Changed the flapper door and it works great now, cept for one thing, only blows on high now. I had to remove the whole dashboard to get to the door but I figure if I didnt put a wire back then it wouldnt blow at all right??!! Any ideas out there?! MAhalo

Check the Blower resistor mounted on the passenger's
side firewall. Look to see if the coil is rusted
out and needs replacing. $8 Mopar parts

May also want to check out ur blower motor.

On my 2001, the resistor pack is mounted under the glove box inside the truck. It's kinda buried in the vent plumbing.

Anyhow, I figured it had to be something simple due to the fact it worked fine before I ripped the dash out so I went in again, turns out theres a connector I forgot to plug back! :o) ooooppppsss.! Had ta take half the dash off again, right in the middle top behind the dash! thanks for the info, Mahalo nui loa! Bryan
