Hey whats up ive noticed a ton of people asking what exhaust to put on their dakota? Well on my 96 3.9v6 I have a FlowMaster 40 series and it sounded nice but is not to loud. I was looking for a meaner sound and today I put a cut out on my truck and it sounds great. Its right before the muffler and its loud! For any dakota driver looking for that louder rumble (most of us) I highly recomend a cut out(dump).
Cut out = $40.00

That sounds pretty cool.Do they add extra hp?do they make them for an 89`dak?

Ok the cut outs are not made by a specific company, but you can get them at most performance shops. Another thing you can do is go to an exhaust shop and tell them to do it.Most shop around were i live in texas sell/install them. And about the hp? im not shure but i feal quicker acceleration in the 2000 and up rpms.
