Subject: Valve covers IP: Logged
Message: So now that they don't make any replacement valve covers for the 3.9L for when you have the 1.7 crower roller rocker arms. Is it really safe to remore the baffles? Won't you suck oil up into the air filter area? Is there a safer way? Can you bend the baffles upward? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Message: Knock them down 1/2". If you remove the baffles you will suck oil like crazy through the PCV. Sam at www.socaldakota.com sells modified ones, talk to him.
