Message: Hey guys I had my shorty catback put on today I now have a flowmaster 50 delta single in 3in with 2 2in outs right before the rear passenger tire with chrome tips that have been rust proofed for now this thing sounds sweet but I drove around for about 6 hours afterwards trying to burn out some of the cherry and really got used to it. Sounds real good at idle like a v8 and is as loud as a 318 flow setup with you punch it and the butt dyno can really tell a differance in response time. I will have pics up soon and I will have my under jumper seat 2-12 box pics up next week because I want to have the subs and amp installed in the pics(I am doing it myself like you all should)but the muffler setup was 200 for stainless pipe and a aluminized flow and rust proof chrome tips and he looks sweet and sounds better than I had expected.

Message: How was the sound inside the cab? I have heard some new exhaust systems can drive you nuts in the cab they are so loud. I was thinking of getting a similar setup but don't want it loud inside the cab. Thanks.

Message: At first for like the first couple of hours it does but when the cherry starts to burn out the sound really mellows out and starts sounding real sporty and I can really tell a differance when I punch it. I noticed a lil low end loss in first gear but I reset my PCM and drove about 30 miles and it gained a good bit but this setup really helps in the 30-90 range because I have really tested this

Message: Thanks for the information. I have heard horror stories from people that get a new exhaust system taht they get it in and then have to rip it out because it is so loud in the cab. I put around 1,000 miles a week on my Dakota and want it to sound nice on the outside, but I want to keep my hearing on the inside! Thanks.

Message: my flowmasters are the 40 series, the guy at the muffler shop said they are loader than the 50 series. i love them. i can hear them inside the cab, and i drive alot in a week. i love the sound of them though. some people think i have an r/t cause it sounds so much like a v8. also my system helps cover the sound on the inside since i always have it cranking. i have all eclipses where the factory speakers were and i have a 10" sub being pushed my 250 walts. i want to eventually get two 12" to have sitting in the back seat powered my 1000walts, but it will be expensive, so it will happen later on down the road.

Message: Damn! If I was in your truck with all the stuff you got and was in it as much as I am in mine in a week, I would be makin a call to Miracle Ear! As long as you're happy with the setup, that's all that matters!
