Subject: exhaust power IP: Logged
Message: im putting on a new muffler to go with a duramax 3 in tail pipe and im thinkin about a flowmaster super 40 but im not sure how much better the hp is gunna be, does anyone know. and what are some other things i can do to get more power to those wheels

Message: i put a flow on my 03 V6 Dak, it sounds great! i love the sound, i did feel a power increase to, nothing that will realy put you in your seat, but i did feel some more power come out of her when i put it on. i think mine is a 40 series to....later....

Message: I have a Flowmaster on my 94 Dak, and I absolutely love it! I agree with 03SXT: You'll definitely notice an increase in power, but nothing too spectacular. I'm not sure what the increase in horsepower is though. The sound out of the exhaust pipe is not too loud, but it does have a deep rumble at idle (almost if it sounded like it was coming from a v8)... it sounds great. If I remember correctly, I think mine is a 40 series too.
