Message: last week the inlet connection at my muffler broke, so muffler is hanging down...i guess i will try to replace it today with a dynomax #17748. i was hoping someone could give me details, shopping list for doing this replacement.
what do i need to purchase as far as extra length of pipe, what kind of clamps, what dia. pipe.
and also how far back on the existing pipe do i cut...

Message: go 2 autozone and pick up a piece of tailpipe it will be about 18" long and 2.5" IN and 2.5" out you just have to cut it to fit the difference between the new muffler
you will need one extra clamp(if you use one of the old factory ones) and something for a hanger because the factory one is welded to the muffler
