BTW...i am taking off my dual exhaust in the rear....cause it doesnt look good with a rollpan and i will put dual side exits with flat looking oval tips any one experience this before and by bending the pipe at a more acute degree will this bump up the loudness of my truck or what
...any suggesstion or advice will be appreciated!

Message: I've got a urethane roll pan too. Yeah it doesn't look right with
pipes underneath it. If you did do it this way you might just get
blackening of the roll pan by the pipes. I was getting this and
wound up putting a turn down on my pipe so it ends before it
even gets to the roll pan. This increases cabin noise because
now my bed acts as a bass tube for the exhaust noise which
bounces off the street and back up. Exiting your exhaust from
the side shouldn't be a problem as long as the tips are clear of
the body.

Message: Yes i was thinking this...i have been looking at these flat looking camaro tips as a side exit...and btw can you bend that rollpan and not break or chip the paint? My father putting me in this dilema and says that if someone backs into me i have to repaint the whole thing! I hope i can get this set up...cause my muffler shop needs it to clear anything and everything...and my gas tank may be a prob!

Message: Yes there is an additive for the paint I believe which makes it
more flexible to a point. I have gotten hit at about 3mph and
got a crack in my panel though. You can flex the panel a bit and
not have a problem though.
