How often do you really need to change the front differential fluid?

about a Qt and a half
Also check your vent line for cracks or dry rot
and be sure the vent is open and the rears will
last forever
Synthetic like Amsoil will also extend the life
and reduce friction and heat even give you a
little better gas mileage
I am running the Amsoil 80w 90 but next change
going to the Amsoil 75w 90
The drivetrain has 92,000 and have used Amsoil
since about 30,000 in the rears, trans engine and
even grease with the Amsoil syn with moly
You wont save any money using the Amsoil products
but you sure will save wear and tear and extend
the life of the vehicle, I guess you would save
money in the long run avoiding expensive repairs
I run the origanal turbo 10w 30 Amsoil in my
motors but I only run 6000 and change the filter
at 3000, they say you can run upto 25,000 but I
just do not feel comfortable running any oil that
long. I have gone 9000 and 2 filter changes at
3 and 6000 and the oil still looked good
