Alright i'm all new to this, but i have a 99 slt nad i'm looking to modify it.. well i did the TPS adjustment and noticed some change... well i am thinking of adding an intake, exhaust, cat back? or jsut a muffler? and was wondering if i got the IAT adjuster would i still need the cold air intake? any help would be appreciated and any advice as to what to do would be too.. thanks alot.

The cooler the air, the denser; thus more oxygen for combustion. The IAT Adjuster doesn't affect that at all. It just tells the computer to run the engine a little richer and advances the timing a tad. So ... definitely get the cold air, but the IAT Adjuster is a good mod with or without.

another option is relocating the IAT sensor into the air system
www.speedtweaks.net has a LOT of good tips and tricks. It gives intructions on how to relocate.

I installed mine yesterday and tested it out, it was about 85 degrese out side and I set it to about 2 o'clock and man oh man, that thing is greate, and when i rev it up high it dont sound like it useto, sounds much better. Just my 2cents

I just relocated mine. Picked up a 1/2inch drill bit and drilled a hole just aft of the K&N cone filter on the Airaid intake I have. Threaded it with a pipe-threader, and threaded the IAT sensor directly in. Looks good! Put the wiring all inside that black flex tube, ran it along the harness that goes down the passenger side and across the firewall. Real nice, works good too! You -really- notice it when it's about 65F out.
