Subject: Sluggish 3.9 :( IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1991 kota with a stock 3.9 with around 120,000 miles on it, The acceleration is a little sluggish before it get going, its kind of like the feeling of a 2 stroke moped fouling a plug when you are riding it, you give it gas but it just doesnt go. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Message: 2 stroke moped with a fouled plug...ouch... my brother has the 3rd fastest moped in town (goes a whopping 48 mph! lmao!) and if your truck accelerates like that, I'd be worrying... you might wanna check under the hood again and make sure somebody didn't swap that V6 for a go-kart engine...lol. Sorry I can't provide any actual useful advice...

Message: Have the catalytic converter checked, if it gets plugged up the engine will have less power and act like a "2 stroke moped fouling a plug". lol
