Subject: something wrong with my v6? IP: Logged
Message: hello
I have a 2003 v6 regular cab 4x4 dakota, with the 5 speed manual. It has 3300 miles on it...
I have noticed when i start up the truck for the first time in a while, it has two spots it stumbles a little... one at about 2,300 RPM, and another at about 2,750 RPM.
The one at 2,300RPM is worse then the later one...
It doesnt seem to happen when you give it enough gas to go beyond these RPM's, but if you give it just enough gas to hit these RPM's it stumbles a little and kinda cuts out.
When the truck warms up, it goes away. Does this happen to anyone else? Anyone have any idea what this is?
Thanks
Tyler

Message: Hello Tyler I think it sounds like an injector or intake manifold or a half clogged cat, but before you go to the dealer for them to rip you off. I'll go to the shop and research it and I'll get back to you.
