I HAVE A 99 DAKOTA, AND WHEN I BOUGHT IT, IT DIDN'T HAVE A SLIDING REAR WINDOW. I NOW, WANT ONE AND WHEN I WENT TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP, THEY SAID I NEEDED TO BUY IT IN PARTS AND THE TOTAL PRICE WAS NEAR $ 500.00, A LITTLE MORE THAN I AM WILLING TO PAY, DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS AS TO WHERE TO LOOK FOR A REAR SLIDING WINDOW THAT LOOKS FACTORY, OR PERHAPS HAVE ONE FOR SALE. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT, THANKS.

Look around on some of the aftermarket parts websites...like jcw.com, truckperformance.com, stylinconcepts.com and any other you may know. You can prolly find one for a lot cheaper than that and then just have a shop put it in for ya for fairly cheap.

Maybe try a bone yard. I went to one a few days ago and saw several newer Daks there with just front end damage. Maybe you'll get lucky with a local one, be cheaper anyway.

we have an aftermarket truck place here in Ohio - website is OHIOLIGHTTRUCKPARTS.com they either sell or can get any kind of aftermarket visual or lift you want. I priced one for my 98 dak, was like $199 (dark tinted) they just snap right in after the factory is out. check em out.
They have fabulous cust. serv. too.
