Message: Diane
No the Ap3923 and the Ap65 are differant
the 3923 have a 5/8 size and the 65 are 13/16
yes just open the gap on the AP65's fromwhat you
said looking like new did you mean white if so
they are running to hot
Try opening the gap if you still stay white you
will need to go 1 colder to the AP64 your plugs
should run with a nice sandy tan color than you
are at optimal cyl temp and will get better
performance and gas mileage
It takes a little playing around but well worth
the time it takes to tune in the MSD system

Message: By new, I meant right out of the package. I'm going to pull one in just a few minutes and see how they look. I probably have close to 125 miles on it since the MSD install.
I'll be back in a bit.

Message: They were white. Re-gapped to 50. Seems like it might have fell off just a bit, but didn't drive very far. Have to go to St. Louis tomorrow, that will be a good test run.
I'll also pick up AP64's. Should try them first at 45deg I would think, right?
Thank you!!!

Message: Larry, Copied the web site into my address site and I'm it. Suddenly, I felt something weird on my right foot. I then realize that I have been infected by this virus called "Trompitis".
I'm enable to install the MSD 6a module cause it needed a bracket. Talked to my good friend, who is a machinest, to make one for me. He said he'll make one for me this coming Monday. Hopefully this coming weekend I have everything installed.
Thanks again Larry,
Moe

I'll get the cooler plugs tomorrow and start at .045 again. Thanks a bunch.
MOE,
Welcome to being a member & also to the "Trompitis" virus we all seem to have.
LOL!
We look forward to seeing pic's of your truck.
BTW,
Forgot to tell you's I got pulled over Fri. night, doing 40 in a 30. Started BSing about my tire size so he just gave me a warning. He was saying you should only be off 5 MPH at any speed and there's no way to change the speedo gear to make it read right. I didn't tell him I thought he was wrong and a dumb ass of coarse.
Dak doesn't like to go slow. At 30 your barely idling along.
I read, here awhile back about changing the speedo gear, counting teeth etc to find out which size you need. I also found a site where you can put in tire size and ratio and convert your speed, but the tires are reg. sizes and I couldn't put in 31x10.50s. I put in 265x75 15's closest I could find and have been going by those speeds somewhat. It's not off a lot from my tire size I don't think. My speedo was around 30-35 when the cop got me.
Is there a way I can figure this somewhat acurately? Has 3.55's in it.

Message: See Diane, Trompitis can have unintended consequences that can be hazardous to your pocket book. I got nailed awhile back for doing 46 in a 35 mph zone. If it had been another 200 yards down the road, I would have been ok, I simply was not paying attention. Is easy to go to fast once you start modding your dak.

Message: Hi Wadak,
That was my problem, I was thinking about other stuff, and forgot my speedo wasn't accurate, although I had it pegged close to speed limit. I pretty much drive fast all the time, but I know where I need to go slow around here. Lucikly he just gave me a warning. Have had this Trompitis condition for as long as I can remember. Just a worse case lately, LOL.
You said: Is easy to go to fast once you start modding your dak.
You've got that right. If you go need to go under 30, you practicaly have to ride the brakes. Dak doesn't like slow! TEHEHE

In addition to trompitis if you keep reading this board you get "Moditis". As soon as you get one mod done you start working on the next. As Tim Tayor said on "Home Improvement" MORE POWER.

As soon as I learn to create a web site, I'll take a photo of my truck and post it on the web.
When ever I take my father in-law somewhere, he alway tells me that I have a led foot. All along, I already have the "trompitis" virus. Bet no cure for this!

Message: Xmr,
Yes, that seems to make perfect sense to me now. Before I found this site I had plans for my Dak, but thought I was all alone. This board is a wonderfull "support group" for "Moditis" which as Dr. Wadak says, leads to "Trompitis".
They seem to be 2 serious ailments that always run their coarse together. So, once infected, always infected.
The good thing is, thanks to Dr. Wadak and Dr. Xmr, we now know what these 2 inflictions are called. But Please, no cure wanted!!! Thanks guys!! LOL
MOE, It's hopeless. Luckily you've found the right board and are among others infected with two serious but uterly fun deseases.
