Subject: PCM to PC Link Software? IP: Logged
Message: Does any one know of a software that you can use on a labtop computer that is hooked to your pcm through a 9pin serial cord?
I thought i heard of somthing like this, hoping some one had some info on it.

Message: I don't know of any thing like that.But,I wish there was away of doing that.The best,that I know of,is a software program by Auto Xray. Basically,it just a software package and cable that you can hook up to a scanner.

Message: Auto Xray has a software package that you can use in a laptop. It comes with a serial cable. I think there is another software package, but I can't remember the name, but they just connect to a serial port on your laptop and the OBII port under the dash. They generally are a little bit cheaper than a scanner. Good luck.
