Subject: FOR SALE: F&B 48mm TB for V6 - NEW IP: Logged
Message: I have a New, in the box F&B 48mm throttle body for sale. NEVER INSTALLED. It's for a 1996 - 2003 V6, 3.9L Dakota. It's complete with everything - instructions, bolts, gasket and the TB is still in the plastic it came shipped in. I bought it for my 2002 Dak and never got around to installing it. Now, I need to sell it for the cash.
I'm asking $320 and it's shipped to your door anywhere in the lower 48 US states. (These TB's usually go for $400).
Email me if interested - mindriot3@hotmail.com. I accept paypal.
Thanks!!!

Message: This TB is better than a factory V8 tb. You obviously never seen
an F&B or driven one.

Message: so mark, your telling me that the hp increase is a big difference?
I bet not, but hell if you wana spend $400 on a prettier looking tb then go ahead. My $50 v8tb works just fine, saw a nice increase in hp.

Message: V8 tb - good
fastman - better
f&b - best
I think? Or did I get the fastman and the f&b mixed up? lol
V8 tb's gain in the mid-upper rpm's, but don't have much of a low-end gain (usually) and sometimes may even lose a tad bit. Modified V6 tb's have gain in the low AND the upper rpm's.

Message: The F&B will out perform a V8 TB swapped on. Seems that the people who like to bad talk it, or discredit the F&B 48mm are always Anon- posters...
F&B TBs come with a 30 day return policy-- money back guarantee, and a lifetime warranty.
All new stainless mounting hardware, correct throttle linkage (V6, V8, or '95 style). Complete factory support on install questions and or maint/care. Also includes complete installation instructors.
Check junk yard TBs cafefully-- a lot of them have seized bearings, cracked tops...
