I was talking to my friend today and he had cut outs done on his mustang and it sounds alot louder but he said there was a performance part to it....he also said no low end torque was lost and added a lil power....well i dont know about the power but wouldnt this set up cause loss of low end? I would hope to get this done only if it doesnt hurt performance BUT sound louder....right now i have the loudest v6 at my school and would like to stay that way...plus it sounds better!

I have seen a part which bolts onto your exhaust and has a handle that comes through the floor board. By turning the handle you let your headers dump out at the transmission instead of going through the entire exhaust system. Just turn the handle the other way you run your normal exhaust. Is this what you mean? That would make it loud and probably make it run like crap too. I saw this years ago at Summit or Jegs.

if your lookin for it to soud like junk and be loud go for it put 1 on, just remember depending on where u put it, u will lose a lot of power

This was what i was afraid of...i am already
running sraight pipe through the cat but i do
have a muffler.....i noticed a gain in low-end
when i gutted the cat but this cut out would
make that go away
