ok i got a 87 Dakota w/ a 3.9L and the factory holley 2 bbl i want a lil bit more power. Ive been looking at maybe exhuast like a 2inch ture duals w/H-pipe and 40 series flowmasters(no cats). I already have cut the brown wire goin into the carb, removed the rain gaurd, and put a factory replacement K&N filter. What kind of ignition system could i do? Whats the best cam for it and who makes it? i know that socaldakota what ever that place is has roller rockers but what about longer pushrods? I need to change out the stock 2.71 rear gear for like a 3.90 and a detroit but its just a wimpy 7 1/4 chyl. I want to rebuild the A904 trans, drop a Shift Kit, drill out the ports, and put a floor mounted B&M shifter. I dont want to rebuild the engine (just passed 169,500 miles) but thats still a possiblity. Or would it be better just building a 360 and dropping it in there? please give me some info to ponder about
