Message: did the chip make a diff on your truck mine dosent seem do be doing anything (98 rc v6 jet stage 2) i didnt reset the pcm though maybe thats why. it didnt have instructions with it, i think i put it in the correct port closest one to the firewall, i didnt want to lose all my stations and audio settings on my cd player (crossover and levels etc) i guess i could just jot them down and do the reset

Message: I noticed a difference above say 3000 rpm. It definitely pulls
harder longer. But I want to do something else now. You
should really disconnect the battery cable when installing the
chip though. Yes it does get mounted to the connector that is
closest to the firewall. I don't know what the implications are of
not doing a reset when installing the chip.

Message: thanks i will reset my pcm maybe tomorrow or i will likely wait until my v8 tb comes to reset it (no real point in resetting it now until i get the new tb) hopefully it will help too
