Message: Who the hell replaced the trani.? this is a simple procedure i would take it back and procede to tear the service manager and the clown that did the work a new a--hole! ? was this a dealership that did this if so tell them that you will be sending Diamler Chrysler a complaint notice as well as the better bussiness bureu. also that you will have any and all damaged compents replaced for free. One very important thing scratch or engrave you're initials on the starter and if they try and tell you that the starter just happened to have problems, tell them to prove it by removing the starter and bench testing it in front of you're eyes. The initials will prove that it is in fact you're starter and not one that they use to sucker people into bying a new one with. Personally it sounds as if someone over torqued and or bent the flex plate or had the starter lying around and it got something on the throwout shaft.
