Message: Well if it's a 3rd gen Dakota it will work. I just bought my MSD 6A and couldn't figure out the odd fire thing until someone set me straight (Larry I think). My 99 Dakota is a 3.9 and runs fine on the "non odd fire" box.

Message: Yes 6a will work don't even think about there odd
fire box. Its for special aplications of which
dodge is not one of.
The 6al is what mopar sells as there high perf ign
and will work on any mopar excluding the coil over
3.7 and 4.7 and the new coil over hemi
Its just a 6a box with a built in rev limiter and
it says mopar on it but made by MSD
