 Subject: Air cleaner vs. Fipk kits

I am runing a 3.9 and i am not sure if i will get better airflow if i get the plain round crome air cleaner or go with something like the Fipk kits? I know people that have had good luck going with the round crome cleaner but that was also on a V8?
Not exactly sure what to do here. Any help would be great, thanks.

the plain old round things suck up hot engine air....go for something like the kn fipk
