PLEASE HELP,Trans slips at low throttle openings, jumps 300 revs or so. at quarter throttle or more thing seem to work ok.I was stranded passing through Las Vegas so took it to the Dodge dealer, they checked all the sensors and recommended a tear down ,told me it would take about 10 days to complete an overhaul or replace if needed $1800 to $3400.I then checked Gibraltar trans ,Ok d a tear down, then okd a rebuild $2600 .picked up this am ,they opened on saturday just for me to take delivery,The same exact problem is still there(they had left when I called back)I did pay with a credit card.Any Ideas to resolve this problem(trans& the fact that I paid for a repair I did not need)Thanks Steve

I think you got hosed big time.

What speed/state is the slippage occuring in? Is in acceleration before or after kickdown or is in in steady driving while in OD? Was the truck rendered undrivable or did you just panic?

Steve m,
I would sure make them fix it. If they don't, since you paid with a credit card, you can call the credit card company and dispute the charges.

Good luck,
Daveo.
