I was wondering if it is possible to put V8 timing gears on a 2000 V6 dokota and replace the timing chain. I want it to be stronger and I love that wining noise. thanks

Yes it has been done but you need to mod the front
of the motor
A little grinding and drill and tap 2 holes if I
remember right.
The local racing team we do paint work for does
it to all there off road racers

about how much work will it take? What exactly do I have to grind off? I really want to do this. also what gears do I buy? just any of them that fit on any 318 or 360.
