Larry..Thats one thing I do miss SNOW..Playing in it..but not getting up early to shovel the car out,warm it up..then drive to work with people that don't understand Snow driving...
Move to Florida..Then I'll have a Dakota expert close bye..

Alaska here.....I believe i am a bit north or the snow belt....or south....either way, i have a bunch of snow to play in and laugh at the ones who can't drive....you would think here in alaska it would be a requirement to be able to drive in the snow...
Anyways, after I graduate, i'm movin down to Atlanta for college. Hopefully some Dak owners down there...

I live in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. This area is located between 2 mountain ranges, the Olympics and the Cascades. It rains alot here. The local joke for newcomers to the area is, after 6 months you get checked to see if you have webs growning between your toes and moss on your back. If you don't than you have to leave. I guess the one good thing is that most of the time the snow stays in the mountains except for this year.
Another set of favorite features of the area is earthquakes and volcanos(shake and bake). Sure is alot of people moving here. If you want to be a cab driver here you have to wear a turbine.
This area if the state is not the place to be if you have arthritis. It's great for ducks, clams and slugs. Have you ever seen a yellow and black slug that can get 6 inches long. They sort of look like a long snail without a shell.

Eastern Kentucky here. The town of Ashland. A group of us have been meeting in Lancaster Ohio once a year to have a good time. Any one in the area or just passing through would be welcome. Watch for a posted date on the meeting. Larry I loved Arizona. Was out there two years. Plenty to do if your in to nature. Good luck.

Smack dab in the middle of Arkansas. So far we have just barely missed any snow and Ice. We get all four seasons but fall and spring are much too short.

Here on the Oklahoma/Arkansas boarder. NO snow yet. Kind of diappointed. I just got the Dakota back at the first of December. I have been wanting to play in the snow with it but able to yet.

I am from the Caribbean and tropical island of Puerto Rico.
