Subject: tranny cooling line seeping IP: Logged
Message: my "transmission and torque converter oil cooler hose" (tranny line under the radiator) is slowly seeping fluid, so i took it to the dealer - not covered under extended warranty, will cost $120 labor and around $150-200 for the hose.
i said H3LL NO!
so, my question is, since it is seeping from a crimped on metal to rubber hose connector, what type of epoxy should i use to seal it?
or any other reccomendations? not gonna replace the whole line, so dont say to. :)
i could always just use the worlds best repair tool - duct tape!
:)

Message: Does anyone in your area make air conditioning or hydraulic lines? They may be able to crimp and/or replace the rubber line for much less than the replacement cost. It's worth a try.
