little black box on driver side wheel well is it a relay? the truck wont turn over no noise when trying to start their is no power to anything no lights inside or outside the battery is fine any info is appreciated

Yes there are a couple relays in the power dist
box, check all the connections especialy the grounds

spoke to the dealer they told me it was fuel pump relay. would that stop the truck from having any electrical power?

No, check the battery, connections from the battery to the engine (both hot and ground).

truck started after friggen around with the little black box i got a spark off the battery then i wiggled the cables and she started there was a red wire corroded pretty bad thanks for the imput my dakota has 370 000 on it still going strong
