I called MSD on this, if I remember right he said I have to check the distributor shaft for a star and some paddle device? Anyone got a 99 Dak 3.9 and put and MSD 6A on it? If so, which one worked for you? I don't know why MSD doesn't know this.

MSD 6a will run great on your 99 you don't need
nor want to use there odd fire unit.
There are a lot of rookies at these places that
answer email but know nothing, get the 6a I have
put them on all 3.9's 92 through 03 1 thing if
you get any codes you will need the tach adapter
but try without it first.
