Subject: Need Some Help please. IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys, I got a problem with my 1991 Pre-mag V6 dakota 4x4.
The truck won't start, it keeps flooding itself, and when it does start which is rare, it runs really rough and if you look into the throttle body you can see the gas pouring out in streams, not lightly misting like its supposed to, just dumping and jet spraying, lol, and eventually kills itself an won't start again until some of the gas evaporates which is a few weeks time, then when you go to start it again, the same thing happens... I'd guess it would have something to do with the Fuel pressure regulator? Anyone have any ideas on how I could fix this? and if it isn't that, anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Message: check the presure should be between 12 to 15
pounds, there is a regulator in the system or you
may have a wireing prob letting the 2 injectors
run full all the time.
A bad TPS stuck on high volts will also do that
center wire and ground digital volt meter, drivers
side of TBI unit
