Message: Do you have e proper Throttle cable..
V-6 TB are ball type
V-8 Disk type.
connections on TB..
Other than that..just remove and replace..
easy and a good mod..

Message: Use all your V6 sensors because you know there
good.
Just bolt it on than start the truck and let idle
a few min than shut off start again and let idle
again with out touching the gas at all now shut
it off and restart and drive away.
This will let it learn the new idle and than it
takes 50 miles for a short tearm learn and a
couple hundred to fully learn the new body.
There is no reason to do a hard reset unless for
some reason it trips your mil light than do a hard
reset and start again

Message: well the tb is in as well as the intake and exhaust.. i must say i like :) went from 2-630 today, not bad i ran into a few things mostly with the exhaust and i also did the plugs and wires. what ever cylinder on the drivers side closest to the fire wall is, is a bitch! f that! i have question for u guys tho, when u put urs on did u have to mod the bracket that holds the throttle cable i had to bend mine alittle closer cuz the throttle calbe was stuck alitte open and wouldent idle below 1,500...but now i dont think the throttle complealy opens...any ideas?

Message: so does that mean it gives a better air/fuel mixture, or would i go with a tbi spacer such as Airaid's TBI spacer, or both for that matter? Also, maybe Larry can answer this best, but how much of a difference would some 9mm spark plug wires make over the stock sized ones(7mm?)?

Message: It means it's giving it more air allowing it to breathe better... tb spacers are useless for the most part (some people say they work, most say they do nothing but make your tb whistle). Plug wires are a good idea... not sure how the 9mm's will do. I know most recommend using 8-8.5mm's.

Message: A V8 body will flow more air and give you better
performance and gas mileage. The computer will
learn and adjust to the added air to maintain the
14.7 to 1 air fuel ratio.
92 to 95 need 92 to 95 V8 body
96 and up you need a 96 and up V8 body
And posably a diff throtlle cable depending on
what you have on your truck
The low end will remain about the same but mid and
top end will improve.
The spacers are not worth the money

Message: here's how to solve the bracket problem just take the v6 tb cable and put it on the v8 cable. Everything works fine after that. i could use my v6 accelerator cable and didn't need a new v8 cable
