Subject: 3.9 litre Firing order IP: Logged
Message: I need some help with the firing order after changing the dist. cap i beleive i might have mixed up the firing order. Can anyone tell me the how the cylinders are designated and is the rotation clock wise or counter if anyone has a wiring diagram would greatly help thanks Jeff

Message: Thanks Tazzy i already know that much as its stamped on the intake, what i need to know is which cylinder is which from the front of the motor is the drivers side #1 or passenger side, and the order Drivers side 1 2 3 or 1 3 5

Message: Thanks all for the help , once you switch the wires around a couple of time you kinda loose trak of were ya started lol. But thanks to your quick responses i was able to figure it out no prob.BTW after getting your advice and sorting things out I realized at a closer look that the cylinder designation is also stamped on the intake. sometimes ya just gotta walk away for a bit. Thanks again..........Jeff

Message: Anyone out there help me with a misfire?? changed cap rotor plugs plug wires and the 1 and 3 injector and still getting the code misfire on the 1 and 3?? anyone out there that can help

Message: Pat - Did you reset the computer in between ?
It remembers until reset .
If you don't have a scanner to do it
-disconnect battery negative - turn key on wait a few seconds , turn key off , reconnect battery.
