I have been driving for about two years. my first truck was a 86 mazda B2000 I loved that truck, cuz it was my first truck. of course! Now I got my dream truck, a dakota, yessir I'm happy. And although its only a sixer it goes pretty fast. but I would like to go faster. now there's all this stuff I would like to do, BUT! since I don't know alot about engines and how things work, I ask my mother's husband(not a stepfather!!!)
now here are the questions
is it possible to put a supercharger on my 3.9 sixer??
Is my block steel or aluminum?? I say its steel but "he" says its aluminum
are the heads aluminum and will they warp easily?
would using synthetic oil screw up my engine? I say no but "he" says yes.
are autolites bad for my truck?

sumbdysumone, Get yourself a Haynes or Chiltons Manual and read it cover to cover. You might learn a thing or two about your DAK.

yes he is my .....stepfather.... but I will not use that term. I don't like the word father in his title. now, the heads are aluminum but they won't warp is that what you are saying?
I'm not some little brat kid, I actually now some of the stuff I'm talkin about. but I'm asking questions for help, cuz if i ask him, he just thinks he knows everything,.. example... he had no doubt in his mind that there was no such thing as headers for a v6..
Lucifer, I'm 18, legaly I can get screwed for fighting him, I think before I act, but don't worry I might pay you a visit, I hear the weathers warm.
