The 195 is a direct replacement for the factory t'stat. The 180's help keep the engine slightly cooler - Magnum engines make best power at 180-185 anyway.

You can get one at www.speedtweaks.net or most auto parts stores. I got my Robert Shaw 180 degree t-stat from SpeedTweaks.

Hey bernd, I was looking at the Robertshaw t-stats you have on speedtweaks. I see that you recommend the RST-0040 for the 3.9 I have. What kind of performance gain would I see from this(i have a bone stock 3.9)? Also, what is the difference between that t-stat and the high flow t-stats you have above it? THanks.
