I was wondering if doing donuts in snow/ice is bad for anything but your tires?

Pretty basic question but I'm just wondering

Well it has been known to be hard on body parts. I've seen it cause a few ugly wrinkles in fenders...

I've been doing them every time i pull into an empty snow covered parking lot...and when pulling out at intersections ive been sliding around when there is no one around or nothing to hit. I think u should jsut be careful of not letting it spin crazily and then grip suddenly...thats how it is for a quad at least...

Love doing it in the snow

The only bad experiance I ever had was doing it
in my 72 road runner and hit a post in the parking
lot got pissed nailed it in reverse and backed
into another

Dam $500 worth of body work and a new rear bumper

I still have that 72 Road Runner GTX factory 440
with the air grabber scoop, a rare car indeed

I did that way back in 1978 never again

Hey Larry, had a similar situation with my 70 road runner. Don't have it any more though, trashed it pretty bad.

Is doing donuts harmful to the open diff or manual tranny? I LOVE doing donuts (i thought reversies w/ my car were fun but donuts w/Dakota are way better) but would rather give them up then have to dump a ton of $$ on a repair bill.

Thoughts?
