 Subject: wont stay running

i just had my tranny built and today it wont shift into any gear even though the lever does and when i start it it just stalls unless i hit the gas any help??? p.s. it is going back to the shop who did the tranny tomorow i hope

Sounds like your guy left some vacum lines unhooked or forgot to hook up and adjust shifting linkage... Sounds more like vacum lines going to your intake were left off... Did it just start this or did it do it right after you wen't to pick it up?

posible pinched wires when they reinstalled the
trans.
Definitly take it back they screwed something up
maybe forgot to tighten the shift arm on the trans
and although the cab lever is moving it may not
be shifting, can you feel and hear the detent
clicking as you go through the gears
