Well since i stumbled across this forum a few days ago i have found it to be great help so i bet someone knows what is going on with this little problem...my air bag light came on about the same time my cruise stopped working...is there a little plate inside the steering wheel that is supposed to be making contact? not quite sure what the deal is, but i could all but gurantee they are related.

First check all your fuses under the dash and
under the hood in your power dist box.
What year is the truck almost sounds like you have
a bad ground somewhere
