Message: HUH! If you are doing the check for error codes with the key on then off, you need to key on and off 3 times and if there is no code I believe it say no code, if there is a code you should get 4 digits, I believe.

Message: yeah larry had answered my question earlier and according to him 12 was the begining of the diagnose and the end was 55 which was exacty what it did and he said that what was in between would be my trouble codes, and that was 21 so I'm just not sure maybe when I get home my book might have something on this sucker..

Message: I have a 96 and I jsut had the dealer honor the warranty for the cat as soon as I left the dealership when I got on the freeway my check engine lit up I have about 67k on the engine so the 02 sensor was my guess, did you change both or just the one before the cat?

Message: If cat was bad, my guess would be a new O2 would be needed, also. My truck only has the one after the y pipe. I would think that would be the same one that you would need to replace, at least first, since it's so close to the cat.
