Message: Dont know if it's true. But one of my friends (he is a son of a tow truck driver so he thinks he knows all lol) says you can buy electronic blow off valves... Makes the blow off sound when you shift? Anyone else heard of them? lol

Message: Why would you need or want a blow off valve unless
you have a S/C or turbo ?????
He must be talking about something else maybe a
cut off to run through exh or right out the pipe
they make those with an elec selonoid these days
the old ones we used to use had a cable either run
through exh or open headers
I had an interesting exp. one day in milwaukee
sitting at a stop light in a friends 70 road runner
next to a chevelle and Jim reved his engine and
we watched the chevelle raise about 2" open his
cut outs and nailed it. It was unexpected and we
still blue his doors off LOL
