i went to the local napa and the autolites they had for the 3.9 where something like 5512.....i asked them for the 3922 and they said they didn't have 'em.....are the numbers different on the sparkplug than your order number?

also, does speedtweaks sell gears and/or install them? i would rather have someone do it that knows our trucks!

The 3922's one step colder than the 3923's which are already one step colder than stock. Unless you really need them, stick with the 3923's. The autolite OEM replacement plugs are 5224's.

I had run both 3923's and 3922's in my Dak when I ran the 100HP shot. The 3922's didn't ping as much with 1 degree less timing retard but fouled up quicker under normal driving as they were too cold for the daily driver. With a supercharger (9#+), the 3922's have a small advantage.

Keep in mind that I ran a timing retard box back then (over 1 year ago) due to the jetting combination of the NX kit. They've changed the jetting since and "claim" to not detonate anymore with the 100HP shot. Definitely run Super Unleaded though.

Hey Intense, I saw a set of Forged pistons for the Magnum V6 that claimed to only have 5000 miles on them. They were at around $300. You might want to buy them and have them ready for when you burn up your stock ones! ;)

Poking along until I get a 408!
