first I have a 94 Dakota 3.9 v6 at first it started to bog down when I went up hills or tried to accelerate so I put some injector cleaner in it ( S.T.P injector and carb cleaner ) hopping it would do the job but after I did it started to wheeze ( sounds like its sucking air when I pressed the throttle and still bogging down ) any help or hints would be good

The "wheeze" sound, could it be air going out instead of sucking in? If so you may have a plugged catalytic converter. An exhaust shop or mechanic shop can check for sure.

I found the wheezing problem it was the EGR valve the transducer was melted. I replaced the egr valve but when I go up hills it still boggs down (drops down from about 60 mph to 40 mph and won't pick up anymore speed). I used STP gas treatment and fuel injector cleaner. I recently changed the fuel pump and fuel filter, coil, distributor cap, spark plugs and spark plug wires, and magnetic pickup.

The wheeze is gone, do you still think it's the catalytic converter?
