Your not saying all these probs are happening with
a new pump I hope.
A high volume pump will not lose presure at high
rpm, it just sends more oil through usualy at a
higher presure also.
The only way you could run the pan dry is if the
oil is not returning and on a rebuilt engine how
could the return ways be pluged.
Be sure there are no restrictions in the pickup
tube, screen is clean and its the right tube, I
had a 273 1966 that a guy rebuilt and put the
wrong pickup in when it was a Qt low the presure
would drop to 0 and when full on a sharp corner
it would drop. such a deal
