Subject: TPS sensor IP: Logged
Message: I was on the dakota-durango.com website and was reading about to voltage on the TPS so I thought that I would test the one on my 99 3.9 to see what it was at. I do have a little bit of a stumble sometimes. But I could not figure out where to test it at while still bolted on to the TB nor could I figure out how to test it when I took it off. So how would I do that? Thanks

Message: Yes, Tazzy is right, and your meter probe can slide in next to the middle wire without having to cut or expose any of the wire.

Message: .35 to .75 the higher voltage like .7 .75 will
give you better throttle response and eliminate
any off idle flat spots that a lot of trucks have
use a digital meter more accurate
