Message: Yea it's just like the telephone, people won't try to figure things out they just get on the horn (phone) and start blowing. Then they look like afool when it was just something simple.
Don't know how many times a part # or a link has been posted here and some dumdazz will still ask 50 mil. questions.
Glad you brought this up TAZZY

Message: Naw Larry, you just want to help where ever and when ever you can. Nothing wrong with asking questions and giving answers. Yep there is a search but sometimes I hate to look through 1000 pages too.

Message: Search is great!
I've used it quite a bit. Have printed out lots of good info from the archives, but, yes, very time consuming especially when you are trying to get your "Dak Back on Track".
I've been helpfull a few times myself, by directing someone to a previous post.
Also, LARRY, Vern, Mark and Several others spoil a person very quickly. LOL

Message: Hey, I recently had a water leak in the cab of my Gen 2 dak, I used the search function for water in the cab. I printed out and read everyone of the posts and all the responses to each post, the posts gave an idea of where to start and how to attack the problem. The problem turned out to be the foam gasket at the bottom of the windshield. A caulking gun and a tube of GE #2 silicon did the trick.
Diane, Did you ever solve the problem with your truck?
