What is it about injectors that seems to incite such heated debates? I remember a thread a couple of months ago, one guy, frothing at the mouth, ripped a couple of shreds off me. I'm dreading people asking me how I like them. I don't really care to get into arguing about the relative merits of the mods i've done - if I notice an improvement, I'm happy - I don't really give a shît if anyone else believes me & wants to buy them too!

How are those injectors? i am pretty sure i have asked before but i want to keep hearing about how good they are before i buy them!
...and if you want to hear someone getting tore up go to the v8 forum and look at the thread sicminds started with the my v6 beat you v8....

I just love these guys who back up their statements with long winded quotes verbatim from a magazine - it was in print, it HAS to be true huh? Remember the Mopar Now? article on throttle bodies? I work at a newspaper, and am well aware of the fallability of the printed word. It's almost laughable irony, a guy like that self-righteously bases his opinions on an article - yet attacks me for relying on the trusted advice and opinions of those more experienced. I don't HAVE the time to educate myself on all the technical minutae - if I did - I would. And could :)
Hey intensedak3.9, I noticed those injectors are going up in price on ebay... bidding used to start at $89. They are starting at $135 now. Not that I'm suggesting that you get them, no siree.

Lesley..actually the guy on MC HankL really knows his stuff. He does lots and lots of good research and has alot of first hand experience. He has helped me out with very good information many times. Not saying hes right, just giving some background.

There is a gen II dak in my town the same dark green with some lighter green near the grill, kinda like your old one. Maybe it belongs to the guy from the gym :)

dodgeboy, have you discovered dodgetrucks.org yet? It's where a lot of moparchat folks go, including the detune & swill guys (less said about THAT the better). The parts for sale section has a few gen II items. Just mentioning dodgetrucks.org on moparchat can get you banned. Too bad, I like both sites.

Well, I bought the injectors (19#FMS)and didn't really find any difference in performance. I did it because it costs about the same as getting them cleaned so I figured what the hell. I have 70k miles and thought it was time. It runs slightly smoother but as for any get up and go, no, I didn't see it. I noticed that he's selling them now at $114 on his site. I payed $100. They must be getting popular. By the way Lesley, still waiting for a deal on e-bay for those headers. Maybe one day. LOL. Greg

Sorry to hear that Greg... some of my mods didn't really realize their full potential (ie. headers) until I had more done. Good luck finding headers on ebay.
