Subject: Alignment problem IP: Logged
Message: I have an 02 2wd QC and just had new tires put on it. Had the tires put on at Town Fair Tire. They tried to do an alignment and could not do it do to the caster and camber being out of align and they can not do those adjustments, Brought it to dodge a few days later and they did the alignment and it was worse than the previous. Could there be something wrong on the front end? Dodge has already replaced upper control arm and ball joint on both sides. I need to get it fixxed soon.

Message: What is it doing...
Pulling???
??Why did'nt "town Fair" do Caster/camber..
If their alignment tech cant do it he needs to be fired...
Take it back to Dodge where they did the Align..tell then exactly what it's doing...
Dodge's can be a bitch to get caster/camber in spec..
Trying to get one in the other goes out...
Did alignments for years....

Message: Thanks
It is pulling to the right.
i was not happy that that tire place could not do the alignment but on the other hand i gave dodge the print out of what was wrong and i went and got another print out at town fair after dodge did it and it was wore than the original.
I am going to try to find a front end specialist in the northern MA or southern NH area to fix it and out a rest to my problems.

Message: If you have it lifted, depending on the lift, the alignment will
never be perfect. If you have issues making sharp turns I
know what could help that possibly, but for the dakotas some
will never be perfect after a lift or with bigger tires.
