Message: have you checked your battery voltage?
there is an ASD(auto shutdown) relay. try swapping out another relay, like the a/c relay for the ASD relay.

Message: 04 Dodge Dakota missing & running rough---- check engine light comes on----THANKS for the info on your site about reading the codes---IF I am doing it correctly---reading the codes on the speedometer/trip display there is a P0300--Mulit cylinder misfire--P0300--#3 cylinder misfire and a P0305--#5 cylinder misfire.
This is my sons truck & we had some very severe weather here in Northwest INDIANA a few daya ago and he drove through a street that had a long stretch of standing water & shortly after that the symptoms started.
ANY ADEAS APPERICATED.
Thanks
Den

Message: Sounds like when he drove through the water he got water in the plug wires and posiblly the distributor. Take and pull one at a time and dry it out. Use a little WD 40 it will displace the water and help it dry out.
Hope this helps....
