Subject: 1.7 Roller Rockers? IP: Logged
Message: If I were to order them and have them installed is there anything else I would need to make the conversion work, or is everything clean cut to where everything will fit back together?

Message: All you need is the set from crower. they come
with the roller rockers studs and washers in the
kit
Just unbolt your old rockers and in the bolt holes
you install a stud with a washer and some
locktight and torque to 24 foot pounds.
Now just pop the rockers on the studs and adjust
them.
Having each cyl at TDC compresion just get the
push rod snug and than 3/4 turn and lock the allen
head lock, the roller lifters require a .050 .060
preload or they will be noisy
The only thing you may need if they are bad is a
set of valve cover gaskits and knock the baffles
back in the covers being sure you leave them open
an 1/8 on the ends and that's it.
The gaskets are reusable and are around $27 a set
for new ones
