I'm ready to buy the F & B 48MM for my 1996 V6 and was wondering what comes with the package. Is there anything else I need to purchase? Ex..Gaskets, Cables, etc..
Also is V8 performance the place we buy these from?

I bought mine from v8 performance when the site first went up and i got a good deal on it. This package comes with everything you need. You get the gaskets and everything. thats why i went with f and b instead of a v8 because the stock cables match up perfect. the only pain in the ass was the stock airhat. It will not fit on the f and b tb so you have to modify it. i eventually went with an aftermarket airhat as well. But if youre gonna get a tb i would go with the f and b its the best package and i would go to v8 performancedodge.com too. good luck

The F&B is a great tb. The install was easy and if you have dremel tool modifying the air hat is easy. They have very good instructions for the install. the quality of the workmanship is out standing every thing fit perfectly.
Home brew cold air with K&N,Dynomax, Superchip Tuner, 1.7 RR,, F&B tb. NAPA cap and rotor, 3923 plugs

My F&B fit on my stock airhat without ANY modification. I have a '99. You can reuse all your sensors so there is nothing to buy.

The F&B comes with a new gasket and all stainless
hardware for all the sensors and the 4 bolts to
bolt it to the manifold. and the 3 to bolt your
cable bracket on.
Just use all your V6 sensors there is nothing else
you need
Just be sure to let Bruce Bridges of flow metrics
know which cable you have and he will install the
correct lingage so there is no need to change out
the cable.
You will love the F&B its the best out there

the tb does not really turn this motor into a ht rod, i think theat anything over 100 for a tb is crazy imo...i would just get the v8 tb u can get them really cheap and get almost the same performence, maybe like a 2 hp diff? just a thought.. i got mine for 45 shipped...good mod for that price but 300??? no way

OK lets say it this way
V8 body good econo way to go around $100
Fastman 46mm better $250 with exchange a mod stock tb
F&B best way new billit alm $380
The diff from a V6 to V8 or aftermarket is very
noticeable
The diff between all 3 V8, fastman and F&B is not
much and not noticeable to most.
Its all a matter of money and taste
