Subject: Larry what next? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 93 Dakota Sport with the 3.9L. I have a drop in K&N with the Tornado Fuel Saver in it. I have the Flowmaster 40 Series on their. Everything else is basically stock. I am having the ASP Pulley Set put on at Midwest Performance in Cary IL. What do you think is the next upgrade that should be done to the truck? I have throught about headers but I will leave that to last. Wish I could find some used ones. I was looking at throttle bodies. I liked the idea of a V8 throttle body but I saw the modified V6 bodies at Hughes Engines, here is the address.
http://www.hughesengines.com/general/fuel_injection/stage1_throttle_bodies.asp
Any other ideas?
How fast would my truck possible run the 1/4 with these mods? I am thinking low 16's,to a 15.9. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Message: Ya get rid of the tornado
You can get a fastman 46mm for $250 its a great
body, the F&B 48mm is $380

The TB and 1'7's would be your next options than
think about the headers after you have the intake
pulling more in.
Than burn it better MSD Ign and coil bigger gap
on plugs AP3923 at .060 run great with the 6a
setup
Behond that your looking at big bucks, stroker
crank, S/C or turbo

Message: The F&B tb may be expensive but it is a work of art. It is all most too pretty to stick in the engine bay. It is the quietest tb that you can get. the stock tb and the v-8 tb give you a lot of air noise when you really get on the throtte. With the F&B the air just flows instead of making noise.
Home brew cold air with K&N,Dynomax, Superchip Tuner, 1.7 RR,, F&B tb. NAPA cap and rotor, 3923 plugs
